R.O.A.R.! (Reaching Out for Animal Rights!) was created for LIFE. For the Life of the planet and ALL its inhabitants. We focus on promoting the rights of all animals who we believe are not here to be exploited for food, clothing, experimentation, entertainment or sport. Because Meat and Dairy (M.A.D.) is the industry that MOST harms LIFE on the Earth - - abuses and slaughters animals; destroys human health, shortens lifespan; exploits, injures and kills workers; is causally linked to global starvation and poverty; and is the most destructive to the short and long term welfare of our planet (especially in regard to climate change and global warming). We spotlight M.A.D. and encourage people to live according to our human herbivorous (vegan) natures. R.O.A.R.! raises a voice for Life through various means. We use leafleting, one-on-ones, conventional and alternative media (including radio and tv), art, theatre, public speaking and the internet to share information and ideas. We raise awareness and inspire people to make compassionate choices and themselves to become active. We believe ALL life is sacred and must be honored and protected. We believe in living in harmony with nature and our fellow Earthlings. We see as essential uniting with and strengthening the movements of all those opposing the exploitation, killing and destruction of Earth and its precious beings. We believe in wholism, the changeless law of constant change, the wisdom of the heart, the brilliance of courage and the power of truth.
